Emily Dahm was able to secure a six-month jail sentence for a client who, while driving under the influence of alcohol, hit and killed a 17-year-old girl in San Francisco. He stopped immediately, called 911, and tried to render aid at the scene. Emily was able to demonstrate to the court and the prosecution her client’s genuine remorse and deep grief over his actions. He was facing 10 years in prison.
