Gurman Bal grew up in California’s Central Valley before attending college at UC Berkeley. He went on to law school at UC Hastings, where he first sensed a desire to someday practice Personal Injury law to help injured people. Gurman’s desire turned into a passion for plaintiff personal injury while studying famed lawyer, Gerry Spence, during the OJ Simpson trial.
After law school, Gurman’s first trial experience was as an Assistant District Attorney with the San Francisco D.A., where he focused on prosecuting suspected drunk drivers. Thereafter, Gurman joined a well-known plaintiff personal injury law firm and he enjoyed great success while securing just compensation for injured clients.
To improve his legal skills, Gurman attended Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming where he learned effective trial techniques from some of the top lawyers in the nation. This experience inspired him to always continue to improve. Gurman hopes to bring his work and life experience to bear on behalf of the injured at Bonjour, Thorman Burns & Dahm. His hobbies include reading and driving.
